Tim Wade recommends finding a fine medium between the two – nothing can compensate for a professionally designed and search engine optimised website that maintains its own user data. Pages from the website can then be regularly posted and linked from facebook, twitter, pinterest and other social networks moving the visitor from the social network, across to your website, where careful calls to action can attract the visitor to register, buy and contact your business.
